GOSSIP
*V8 Forum has been a bit quiet of late and could do with a kick start - over to you!
*Congratulations to Rob Beale & family on the birth of their grandchild.
*Another car currently undergoing repairs is the 32 car of Daryl Harris. As soon as the
repairs are complete, it will see the return of Terry Harris, whose car Daryl is using at
the moment.
*Mark Williams is another driver who should also be back out soon.
*Jamie White has now apparently sourced an engine so will be out on track shortly.
*Brad Moss should be back out at the next meeting.
*Lee Barnard expects to be back out amongst the V8s at Wimbledon on the 5th February

*A new driver to look out for next season is Jamie White from Hants. He has acquired the
Lee Pearce car and I believe he is currently trying to source an engine. He has previous
racing experience, including Autograss & 2.0 Hot Rods.
*Lee Barnard's car is finally nearing completion and could possibly be out at Wimbledon.

*Brad Moss will be missing from the January fixture as his daughter's christening clashes.
Brad's engine is also getting a freshen up so expect him to be flying when he's out.
*Dan Moss (895) has his car at Mossport Racing at the moment, having some work done.
*Maurice Sullivan is playing with the idea of using his car as a hire car

ENGINES TO REMAIN THE SAME
Spedeworth have announced on their website that engine specs will remain
the same as they were in 2011.
Crate engines ARE NOT being introduced and there are no plans to introduce
them in the future. Neither do they intend introducing restrictor plates.
Spedeworth want the formula to grow and in their opinion, making things
more restrictive is not going to help.

The above information has come directly from Spedeworth so please do
not listen to any other rumours which may surface.
